Grace Family Reunion

88 descendants of Leo & Florence Grace (my great grandparents) gathered at the Trout Lodge in Potosi, MO for a weekend of family revelry. It was great. So good to see everyone.


My cousins, my generation decided we had such a great time that we are going to do halfway reunions. Instead of the entire Grace family every five years, we will get our generation together every 2-3 between the major reunions.

Sunday Afternoon

I've got a great summer Sunday afternoon routine going. Grab the Times, head to this little plaza nestled between two high rises, read the paper and enjoy some Starbucks (of course). When I'm done with the paper I head to the Delta Grill for biscuits and gravy. Then on with the rest of my day

The Bellagio

The Bellagio, home of the most fantastic buffet known to mankind. Sitting across the street as the day was drawing to an end and waiting for the fountain/light/water show to begin.

JCK

Went to the annual JCK Show in Las Vegas this weekend. It's my third year at the show but my first year not working. It was great to not have the stress of setting up a booth, keeping the computer systems up and running, or putting out crazy fires. Just walking around the show with LM as she buys stones.

BE NICE

My cousin's friend/roommate throws these parties on Thursday nights. The BE NICE parties are conveniently sponsored by Red Stripe--free until supplies run out. Each Thursday night at the Orchard Bar. Good times. Plus it's always nice to be out with my cousins.
