Long Live Irish

I think this was at Paddy Reilly's Music Bar. I thought it was appropriate considering my up-coming trip to Ireland.

CRANK

I just saw this ad on the side of a bus in NYC. This movie was written and directed by a friend and one time roommate of mine, Mark Neveldine. He's a total adrenaline junkie so it's fitting he made a movie about. Great job Nev and congrats.

More sky/baseball

The sky beyond Cominsky/USCellular Park. Another beautiful night in Chicago.

And the stadium itself. The seats were perfect for last minute wanting to get out to a game. The night was beautiful and the weather was gorgeous. Altogether a great night at the ballpark

Training in the Chicago suburbs

I'm at tech training in Chicago for a new system rollout. Actually it's the Chicago suburbs. I've become such a city boy that I forget how beautiful the sky can be. Surrounded by lowrises rather than skyscrapers the sky actually felt far away. A nice moment of peace before getting back to the corporate thing.

Heat Wave

The hottest day of the year. Parts of Queens have been without power for a few days. The city is so hot you can see the asphalt melting in the street. (This post is also my fisrt forray into mobile blogging. Moblog?)

Lan Kwai Fong Julyfest

A beer festival? At night? Outdoors? In the streets of Hong Kong?
That's so nice of HK to thrown this party the weekend I was in town. How considerate.

David and I at the party

David in Mong Kok

We were shopping in Mong Kok trying to get everything from clothes to computers to hot sauce. First electronics store we passed David was drawn to the XBox 360 like a moth to flame; he veered off course, straight to the warm inviting glow of the monitor screen.
