| After I got back from my second trip to China in 1995 I was officially infected with the travel bug. I asked my cousin Steve, a full-on globetrotter, outdoorsman and world adventurer where I should go next year. He suggested Indonesia, specifically Bali. I was in Bali the following year, the summer of 1996; in and out in just under one month. It's beautiful, inexpensive (once you get there) and easy to survive speaking only English. So I went with a friend from my first trip to China. The country of Indonesia is enormous so we decided on only visiting Bali. Here are some highlights from the beaches to the mountain. |
