My dad taught me to shoot a camera from a very early age. It was one of my first gadget loves as a kid. I always used his equipment which was a great Nikon with a full assortment of lenses--from wide angle all the way up to telephoto. Before going to China in high school (1992) I remember being in Ritz Camera at the mall back in Pittsburgh and looking at point-and-shoot cameras thinking "I can't work with this! I'm going to need something bigger." I managed to convince my parents to buy me the Nikon 6006, one of the top consumer-level SLRs. I used that camera faithfully for the next 11 years until Lai Ming bought me the Nikon D100 for Christmas 2003. The digital world was like learning all over because in order to get the most out of the equipment you really have to develop your own pictures in Photoshop.

And so here they are, my shots through the years.
